Data-driven quilting returns to Syracuse Maker Faire!

Saturday, May 4, 2024

10am – 4pm

New York State Fairgrounds

Join Rachel Ivy Clarke, Leah T. Dudak, and Abby Long to make a community quilt! This year, we are collecting data about what brings you joy. Attendees will cut a shape that represents how joy feels to them and add it to our quilt. Throughout the day, the colors will change, so we can also collect data about traffic and interactions at the Maker Faire. At the end of the day, we will have a unique quilt that represents joy in our community!

After the event, Abby, Leah and Rachel will work together to complete the finishing touches. Stay tuned to this page for photos of the quilt when it’s finished! You can also follow along on Instagram for progress updates.
